  Give to Our Thanksgiving Food Drive-November 22-23

Share the blessings of Thanksgiving with our neighbors in need...bring your nonperishable food items to the church hall where our amazing army of volunteers will sort, pack, and deliver the donations to 5 local charities-Morning Star Mission, The Spanish Community Center, The Warren-Sharpe Community Center, The Peter Claver Community Center, and the Frankfort Township Food Pantry. If you would like to volunteer, contact Cookie Halaby at 708-326-9323 for all the details!

 

Who Will Fill These Shoes?

On Black Friday, November 28, the Vocation Office is sponsoring an event for young men and their parents at the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet.  It is a day to meet priests, seminarians, and seminarian parents t learn more about the priesthood.  There is no cost for the event, but please register at www.whowillfilltheseshoes.com so that enough food is available.  For more information, please call the Vocation Office at 815-221-6171.

 

  Christmas Gift DriveTag Distribution-November 29-30

Share Christmas Joy!  Name tags for our annual Christmas gift drive will be available in the narthex after all Masses on the weekend of November 29-30.  The tags will contain individual information as well as gift suggestions for those who would like to take a name and purchase a gift.  The gifts should be returned the following weekend of December 6-7 for distribution to the following agencies:  Vilaseca, The Spanish Community Center, The Warren-Sharpe Community Center, Trinity Services, FISH, and St. Coletta's.
