Religious Education Classes Grades 1-6

Elementary RE provides for the religious formation of the parish children. Sacramental preparation is provided for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Classes are facilitated by volunteer catechists in the St. Mary School classrooms. We offer classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays for grades K-6.

It is diocesan policy that a person be in the Religious Education program for one full year before receiving sacraments.  A child needs to be in First Grade Religious Education to be on track to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in Second Grade.

Junior High Confirmation Preparation (Grades 7-8)

The Confirmation program is a 2 year process that prepares the students for the Sacrament of Confirmation. It includes classes, service hours, retreats and other large group events.

Classes are facilitated by volunteer catechists in the St. Mary school classrooms. We offer classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for 7th and 8th grade.

R.E.A.C.H. (Special Needs)

Our R.E.A.C.H. program is designed to teach the Catholic faith to children that have special needs. R.E.A.C.H. meets twice a month on Wednesdays. Adaptive resources are used for sacramental preparation.

and a life of discipleship.
